I have personally taken several ideas from this book. And, these ideas I've applied to my home advocacy business. Written in easy to understand language. "Want to work from home, but don't know where to start?" Start here! NOAH ( Northwest Ohio Agape House) Foundation House Parents Needed Housing, food and a small monthly allowance provided. From: Terry Rufenacht To: Angela Suarez Subject: RE: House Parents Needed Date: Wed, 28 May 2008 16:05:53 -0400 Angela, This is a rural home that is being started by a small group of people from several local churches, that have felt the calling to provide shelter for local people, that are in need of temporary housing to get back on their feet. We want to provide services to family or partial family units. The house has six bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and two large gathering rooms. There is also an attached apartment with one bedroom and one bathroom, large living area and kitchen. We are thinking that this would be suited for a retired couple that is looking for a one to two year service project, where it would not cost anything to live, as far as housing and food. We would also provide a small monthly allowance for some spending money. I think Dean’s description in his comments describes it well, it would be best to be someone with some experience, as far as helping people deal with life situations. We have a local ministry that is willing to help with counseling, we would also have people that are willing to be mentors for these people when they are ready to step out on their own again.
