Q: What's happening with the intentional community - MIM's Place of Community?
A: MIM's Place of Community, our first prototype intentional community collective house, recently purchased at 1429 Pearl St. is coming along. We are just about moved in...but, a bit more settling in is yet to be done. We have a functional office we refer to as the Tech Room / Computer Lab. We have plans to give classes on all kinds of computer related subjects and many others. An art and music common area is set up in the living room. And, we are beginning to make use of it. Some folks here are involved with an artistic role playing organization called the Camarilla. Also, we're now in the process of organzing our first festival. Our garden out back is coming along well. We have tomatoes and herbs growing like crazy. Soon, "Chess Out-side the Box", a mentoring and consultancy service, will be available in the Anderson, IN Community. We have lots of plans, but we are making room for our lives to be filled with spontanaity and be fluid.
