Articles of Incorporation Mercy International Ministry’s Corporation
A Nonprofit Corporation Pursuant to the provision of the Nonprofit Corporation Act of this state, the undersigned Incorporators hereby adopt the following Articles of Incorporation: Article 1 The name of the corporation is: Mercy International Ministry’s Corporation Article 2 The name and address of the registered agent and registered office of this corporation is: Angela Micelli Suarez, 1429 Pearl St., Anderson, IN 46016 Article 3 The purposes for which this corporation is organized are: 1. To be a public benefit 2. To build a charitable and supportive network for mentally, emotionally and economically disadvantaged (MEED) people and their families at the local, national and global level 3. To support individual freely self-determined choices of lifestyle conducive to sustainable livelihoods 4. To support peaceful, positive and productive lifestyles 5. To contribute to the eventual understanding, acceptance, social integration and inclusiveness of MEED people and their families by mainstream society Article 4 The number of initial directors of this corporation shall be six and the names and addresses of the initial directors are as follows: 1. Article 6 The period of the duration of this corporation is perpetual. Article 7 The classes, rights, privileges, qualifications and obligations of this corporation are as follows: The membership provisions of this corporation shall be stated in the bylaws of this corporation. Article 8 Additional provisions: Upon the dissolution of this corporation, its assets remaining after payment, or provision of payment, of all debts and liabilities of this corporation shall be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or shall be distributed to the federal government, or to a state or local government for a public purpose.
